Here is the quilt that started it all! In the mid-seventies, this group of friends were exploring various crafts together. (left to right: Linda O'Connor, Anne Avcebo, Lynda Mahoney, Linda Genovese, Nancy Nevola, Jane Phillips) When Lynda Mahoney gave birth to her son Dennis in 1976, the group made this quilt for her. Three of these friends--Linda, Nancy, and Jane--went on to found Quilters' Connection the following year.

When QC founder Jane Phillips moved away in 1978, the group made this quilt for her as a goodbye gift (left, Jane Phillips; right, Nancy Nevola).
