I made this quilt to comfort my friend whose husband and father died within several months of each other. After starting the quilt I had to deal with a challenging health issue. Working on the quilt became a retreat and comfort for me as well. This quilt uses a variation of Sylvia Einstein's Magic Square. Machine pieced and hand quilted.
