Before and After

In September 2005 I had a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy after 2 bouts of breast cancer. "Before" includes all the scars that are not there anymore and gems where the cancer was. "After" is based on a drawing I did of my chest one week post-surgical. Hand Quilted.
