Vested Interest

"Vested Interest" was made as a raffle quilt for Voices Rising, a Boston area women's chorus. The fabrics are mainly tuxedo vests and bow ties worn by chorus members in their second season, supplemented by fabrics gleaned from other attire made or altered for singers, such as discarded hems and collars, and complementary purchased fabrics. The black and white squares represent the tuxedos worn by the artistic director and accompanist. The title is a pun, indicating both the fabrics and my "stake" in the chorus, being a founding member.
